i didn't know that my mail to the SYC '03 group can start such a long thread. but i'm so glad i posted the mail. and that email was only the second email i'd ever sent to the group. hahahs.
really cool how a by-the-way act managed to garner such response and now so many are reviving that yahoo group. what's even better is the realisation that many of our lives had changed so much.
definitely, most of the delegates are still pursuing their studies in their respective countries. while originally we came from 13 countries, now we can be found in even more corners of the world. xizhen will be going to germany soon, on scholarship. crysteen from brunei is in nottingham, uk. wonder if she met up with the uk delegates. laura from uk is now in college and is a mother already! baby jessica is absolutely gorgeous! goodness, if i remember correctly, she's younger than me by, say, 2, 3 years?
hmm... it's high time i send a personal email to my room-mates back then. wondered if mook got her scholarship? (of course! i think. hahahs.) and yath... shites i just realised that i didn't keep in contact with her. oh wells we got to start from somewhere. shall start from here.
swell. i should go back and help in this year's SYC.
and come next year, SYC Alumni!
