finally the preliminary examinations are over. officially. it marks the end of a part of typical school life in Singapore. now we stand right at the door. open it, and the A Levels greet you.

had a one-week break before paper 8 today. spent it away from books. watched a japanese drama serial, White Tower. enjoyed it. it places the medical profession and its handling of death in a new light. watched Hitler after that. again, death is a theme. was still suffering from the after-film-thought-process when i was watching it. due to the divided mind, i feel there are some nuances and dynamics in Hitler that i didn't quite grasp. note to myself: join the dots! i shall watch it again when i find the time.

today's get rea! deals with the issue of dying within the sickly young in Singapore. an eye-opening episode i must say. evocative too.
