NTU Admissions Handbook arrived in the mailbox yesterday and I made the mistake of reading it (attempt to, actually) in my drug-induced state.

There are so many bloody deadlines to take note of. (It doesn't help that the Handbook wasn't complied in such a way that the deadlines are in chronological order. And can't you have separate handbooks for local and international students?! Waste of paper + making local students confused = Lose-lose situation.)
And you have to settle paperwork via the Internet and post.

I went to DBS today and found out that the current interest rate for repayment of tuition loan is 4.75%. Using CPF is 2.something%. So I smsed my dear brother who had been there done that to tell him this information. And he told me that using CPF means the interest starts the moment the loan is taken up. OMG I better read that I-would-rather-throw-it-into-the-bin Handbook again. The Bank says I can borrow up to 80% of my total tuition fees while the Handbook says I can borrow up to 90% under the same scheme. SHEESH.

I am so looking forward to 7 August 2006. First Day of Semester 1 of the Academic Year 2006-07. For it means that all this matriculation nonsense will be out of the way. (HOORAY)

Now I know why all freshmen have some sort of "I'm so lost and I'm absolutely not sure about what I'm doing" look on their faces. Simply put, Matriculation got them.

One and a half months to life as a NTU freshie!
