yesterday was a great day; it was a self-declared holiday. =)

in the short while that i had been away from the beach, Sentosa had changed a lot. and that's an understatement. the Sentosa Luge had opened its doors and it's right beside Palawan Beach. in a way, i feel that as they develop Palawan, it becomes way too commercialized, hence, taking away the beauty of nature. wait. in the first place, the beaches at Sentosa are all man-made, so what am i talking about?

and there's a new beach bar called Bikini Bar.
i gaped when i saw the name. like huh?! what kind of name is that?

no wonder the beach scene in Singapore don't really seem to take off. i mean, compare Bikini Bar to Cafe del Mar. first flop: name of bar. so we don't have to compare anything else. (in any case i doubt the music is comparable from the start. haha.)

the landscapes of Siloso Beach and Palawan Beach are changing fast. i didn't go to Tanjong Beach yesterday but i hope it remains pretty much the same (just build some toilets and showers there! and that's all.) cos that's my favourite of the three.

last point. I AM SO GLAD THAT I AM PICKING UP IN MY FRENCH.
having skipped THREE lessons before i went back yesterday, i was so darn prepared to be slaughtered, displaying a gong face for the next 2 hours. but i didn't! thank God! and even impressed my tutor cos i actually know the stuff that i missed out on. whee. the power of a 20-min prep before class.
