i'm really getting alot of shit in this school and i seriously think i'd be way way better off without them.

as if i don't have enough to grapple with,
two of my former students approached me for help in history. if i help, i may offend their current teacher who was my so-called 'mentor' last year. if i don't, it's unfair to the kids.

my HOD just informed (yes. although it went like this "i need to ask you for a favour...") me this morning that
1: i'm responsible for the setting of the Common Test 1NA Geog paper. ( which reminds me, i haven't even get myself started on setting Class Test 1. and it is due very very soon.)
2: i'm responsible for the marking of the Common Test scripts. 1Exp and 1NA. oh good luck to me. SEVEN classes. nearly 300 scripts. so what's new.

so what did i do?
sent the kids to ask permission from their current teacher. (the ball shall be in her court. in the meantime, i shall cover my arse first.)
and to the 'favour' that i was asked for, all i replied was "ok, can." (like duh. what else can i say?)

oh well these issues will themselves solve.

every cloud has a silver lining.
thank God my timetable gives me a break on Fridays.
on Odd weeks i only have a double-period lesson. whereas on Even weeks, guess what! NO LESSONS AT ALL. yes my timetable is EMPTY on Even week Fridays! rejoice!
