ok today's great for me! absolutely smashing! really terrific!
the school's celebrating Racial Harmony Day today. and since the Humanities Department has some booth somewhere, we have to show our support! and so the Dept turned up in ethnic costumes! thank you, idayu, for your sarong kebaya! it suited me very well! -smiles- maybe it's time i start buying long skirts cos i look good in them. haha. but it really restricts your movement. which was why i don't have any in the first place. >.<
well there's some sort of carnival downstairs in the canteen. students selling stuff for fund raising. and boy, what a pasar malam it was! haha. and it means all the teachers here had our most expensive school meal ever! like really expensive! cos you kept being bugged by students. haha!
saw a couple of students dressed in the Singapore Girl outfit. and i was thinking "huh? SIA stewardess uniform= ethnic costume?" haha i guess maybe that outfit best symbolises the Singapore Identity? anyway, my HOD wore that too. but hers is in green. wa leading stewardess arh. haha. thank goodness i didn't see anyone in the red or purple one or i'll just scream. hahas!
